Portrait

Pritzkow Spezialkeramik was founded in 1994 as an extension of the engineering office of Walter Pritzkow. Even at that time, the main aspect of our work was the development and design of lightweight ceramic structures for high-temperature applications.

For the development of “Keramikblech”, Walter Pritzkow received the award of innovation 1995 from the international committee Techtextil.

High quality complex structures made of “Keramikblech” have been available for several years. They were manufactured with regard to their special use and on our customers requests.

The further development of these innovative materials, oxide-oxide ceramic matrix composites (OCMC), is done by Pritzkow Spezialkeramik in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institut für Silicatforschung (ISC), Würzburg since 2001.
