Fracture behavior of standard AvM1415N
and new development FW12

Within a government funded ZIM-project in cooperation with “Fraunhofer Institut für Silicatforschung” new materials were developed. The basis for this developments were the fabrics Nextel 610/1500 normally used from Walter E.C. Pritzkow Spezialkeramik and matrix materials of pure Al2O3 and Al2O3/3YSZ (Material FW12).

With in the government (BMBF/Projektträger Jülich) funded project Höcker the mechanical properties of the new material FW12 and the standard AvM1415N were validated by Fraunhofer Institut für Werkstoffmechanik.
